Culturally Rich Ponte Vedra

Ponte Vedra homesThe Cultural Center at 50 Executive Way, Ponte Vedra Beach is the heart and soul of the community in Ponte Vedra real estate. It continues to offer art exhibits and shows, lectures, concerts and a range of diversified classes every six weeks. The center urges your family and friends to call regarding membership opportunities.

The Cultural Center is the central place where residents of all ages from Ponte Vedra homes, learn, play and experience the arts. It is open to the public. Many of its programs are offered at little to no charge. The goal of the Cultural Center is to offer broad public access to a wide variety of art, cultural education and lifelong learning. The center is a nonprofit organization that provides needed enrichment opportunities to the community and depends on the community for support.

The Center’s mission statement reads:

“To enhance the lives of the Northeast Florida community by fostering and developing the visual and performing arts and by offering a variety of educational opportunities at The Cultural Center’s new facility in Ponte Vedra Beach.”

Founded in 1991 by a dedicated group of community leaders, the Ponte Vedra Cultural Center began its operation in 1996 and was temporarily located on the east side of AIA across from the Fairfield/Azalea Point Subdivision. The center was then moved to a better and larger building on Executive Way, where it remains today. Residents of Ponte Vedra homes are proud of the largest cultural arts facility in St. Johns County, Florida. The eight thousand square foot facility houses an excellent art gallery with exhibitions that feature local and regional artists. In addition to the gallery, the Cultural Center provides studio facilities for our art, dance, music and voice instruction classes. Most importantly, the Cultural Center provides a unique gathering place for everyone in the community to create, understand and experience the arts.
